The 11th General Body Meeting of our Association was held on 7th August 2023, in premises of Ramalayam. The discussions and resolutions are given below; You can read resolutions in TELUGU. The Minutes of Eleventh Monthly Meeting held on 7th August, 2023 at Ramalayam premises are given below. 1. Invitation to new members: B. Butchaiah garu, I. Yadagiri garu, K.K. Sharma Garu, V.N. Prabhakara Rao garu and B.H. Hanumanth Rao garu were cordially invited into the Senior Citizen Welfare Association. All the members welcomed them with open arms. 2. Birthday Greetings: The existing member V. Satyanarayana garu, new members K.K. Sharma garu and Vemuri Naga Prabhakara Rao garu have birthday in this month. All these members were greeted and wished them to celebrate many more such happy birthdays in coming years. All of them sincerely wished to live happily with good health and happiness throughout the year. 3. Honoring Super Seniors: Super senior Narsi Reddy garu was honored by the association members. All the members wished him to live a healthy and happy long life. 4. AMC Dues: The fund is necessary for the proper and active management of the financial activities and many more programs of our association. So those who have not yet paid the AMC of ₹500/- so far, are requested to pay immediately. As per the demand of members, the Finance Secretary V. Venumohana Rao garu was requested to prepare a list of unpaid members. 5. Association Building: The corporator garu gave an assurance for the construction of the association building. The engineer along with the work inspector visited the plot and submitted the estimation to the zonal commissioner. Corporator said that the zonal commissioner will sign in a week or 10 days and work may start next month. 6. Filled-in-registration forms: Very few filled-in registration forms were submitted. Many filled-in registration forms are yet to be submitted. The members were requested to submit the filled-in registration forms soon. New members were given blank registration applications and asked them to return the filled-in forms as soon as possible. 7. Independence Day Celebrations: It has been decided to organize competitions in our association on the occasion of 76th Independence Day celebrations. It has been decided to organize the following competitions. Chess, Carroms, Ekapatrabhinayam (Mono-Action), Prastara Kathalika (Progressive Relay Storytelling), Reciting with Poems, Gitalapana (Sing-a-Song), Memory Test with Numbers, (Memory Game), Memory Test with Objects, Tag & Brand. The president explained the procedures for playing these games. Apart from that everyone was given a great opportunity to show their talent. They were asked to register their names on or before August 11th to participate in these games. These competitions will be held on August 12 and 13 in the Ram Mandir premises. Pandu Rangaiah garu, Venumohana Rao garu, Narasimha Rao garu and Vijayakumar garu were nominated as members in the Games Committee and entrusted the responsibility of program management. 8. Constructive and Practical advices: The President requested all the members to think and advice creative and practical suggestions to strengthen our association and make the meetings more interesting. 9. Vanamahotsavam: The planting of saplings in the plot allotted to us, on the occasion of Vanamahotsava program has been postponed for the time being. 10. Oka Manchi Maata: Kashi Vishwanath Garu and Jayanth Kumar garu explained the process of getting happy peaceful life and to spare good time to spend with near and dear. The explained the concepts with the help short stories. 11. Tribute to Prajaakavi Gaddar: All members stood up and observed two-minute-silence to pay tribute to Prajakavi Gaddar and wished to rest his soul in peace. Ramana Muni garu spoke a few words about Prajakavi Gaddar. 12. Laughing-Exercise: 'Making others to laughing is yoga, to laugh is bhooga, not being able to laugh is roga.' The presidents asked the in-charge B. Ram Prasad garu to make an action plan for the members to forget everything and laugh heartfully. He was requested to plan with programs like, Jokes, Hamesha Tamasha. After that, all the members stood up and laughed loudly for two minutes enlivening the hall. 13. Doctor gaari Salahaalu: Causes of memory loss, precautions to be taken were explained by Dr. C. M. Prabhu garu. He explained it not only in medical language but also in a way that common people also can understand well. 14. Question Hour: (Doubt Clearing Session) All the members asked their doubts and Dr. Prabhu garu cleared their doubts. 15. Vote of Thanks: The meeting was concluded with the Vote of thanks by K.
